Island’s Best Care Services was founded by husband-and-wife team Fatima and Nav, who moved from Ontario to Vancouver Island in 2024.

After settling in James Bay, they became part of a close-knit community with many senior neighbours. Whether it was carrying groceries, decorating doors for the holidays, delivering a morning newspaper, or simply taking the time to lend a helping hand, they discovered how meaningful small acts of kindness could be.

Those experiences also highlighted a need for more affordable, flexible, and reliable support for seniors and their families. They saw that many services were difficult to access, expensive, or simply unavailable when people needed them most.

When they later moved to the Westshore, their commitment to helping the community continued. They regularly repurpose furniture and household items by donating them to seniors and individuals in need, while supporting local charities and community organizations throughout Southern Vancouver Island.

Today, Island’s Best Care Services proudly serves seniors and families throughout Greater Victoria, the Westshore, the Saanich Peninsula, and communities across Southern Vancouver Island. Our goal is simple—to provide dependable, compassionate, and practical support that makes life’s transitions easier for every family we have the privilege of serving.
